Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 2026

AXE Technologies ("we", "us", "our") operates the AXIOM platform at axiom.com.vc. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with the AXIOM software and any hosted services we provide. AXE Technologies is a Canadian company and adheres to Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA.

Our Philosophy

AXIOM is built on ownership-first principles. Privacy is not a feature we bolt on after the fact — it is the architectural foundation. The system is designed so that we cannot access your data, even if we wanted to. There is no ingestion pipeline, no data warehouse, and no analytics backend on our side. Your AI stack is yours alone.

What We Collect

For self-hosted AXIOM deployments, we collect nothing. Zero telemetry, zero usage metrics, zero behavioral data. The software makes no outbound calls to AXE Technologies servers. If you use a hosted AXIOM instance provided by us, we store only the minimum data required to operate the service: your email address for account identification, and an authentication session token. We do not log your conversations, prompts, model outputs, or any content you generate.

Data Storage and Residency

All substantive data — model weights, conversation history, embeddings, vector databases, and configuration files — lives exclusively on your infrastructure. Whether you run AXIOM on a single machine or a distributed fleet, you control the storage medium, the encryption scheme, the backup schedule, and the retention policy. We have no access to your systems and no mechanism to retrieve data from them.

For hosted instances, data is stored on Canadian or Canadian-controlled infrastructure. We do not transfer data to jurisdictions with weaker privacy protections unless you explicitly configure your deployment to do so.

Third Parties

AXIOM has zero third-party data sharing. There are no advertising networks, no analytics providers, no data brokers, and no embedded third-party scripts. We do not sell, rent, license, or otherwise disclose your information to anyone. The software is designed to operate entirely self-contained. If you choose to integrate external services into your deployment, that is your decision, your configuration, and your responsibility.

Cookies

Self-hosted AXIOM instances set a single HttpOnly authentication session cookie to maintain login state. No tracking cookies, no fingerprinting scripts, no cross-site identifiers, and no persistent identifiers of any kind. The session cookie is scoped to your domain, marked Secure and SameSite=Strict, and expires when you log out or after a configurable inactivity period. Hosted instances follow the same policy.

Analytics and Telemetry

There is no analytics system in AXIOM. No page views are counted, no click events are tracked, no heatmaps are generated, no session recordings are made. We believe telemetry is surveillance by another name. If you want usage insights on your own deployment, you can instrument your instance however you see fit — but we will never do it for you without your knowledge.

Children's Privacy

AXIOM is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since self-hosted deployments involve no data collection by us, this provision applies only to hosted instances.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the project evolves. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Because AXIOM collects effectively no data, changes are unlikely to be material — but we commit to transparency regardless. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
